Our commitment
Meyda wants everyone to be able to use this site, including people with disabilities. The site was built to meet the Israeli Standard SI 5568, based on WCAG 2.1 at level AA.
What we did
Semantic HTML and landmarks; a “skip to content” link; full keyboard navigation with visible focus; text alternatives for images and charts; colour contrast of at least 4.5:1; layouts that work when zoomed to 200% and on phones; right-to-left support in Hebrew and Arabic; no flashing content, and motion reduced when your system asks for it.
Charts and maps
Every chart has a text summary, and the key figures appear as text on the page. Maps are images with a written description of what they show.
Known limitations
Some interactive charts may be harder to explore with a screen reader. If anything on the site is hard to use, tell us and we will provide the information in another way.
